Established in Copenhagen, Denmark, but born and raised in Spain, in the picturesque city of Segovia, I developed a great interest in photography since my late childhood and teenage years when taking my first photographic shots with a very basic analog camera, and a bit later on with one of those first digital photographic cameras that were appearing in the market in the 2000s.

Academically educated as Civil Engineer, specialised in Transportation, and developing an international career within the maritime industry, photography has evolved for me as a great passion cultivated through intense reading, self-study, and learning from professional and more experienced photographers, with feedback and mentorship, while exposing myself to photography exhibitions, museums and accessing great photographer’s work through photo books seeking inspiration and new ideas. But overall, practicing and shooting every time I get a chance for it, being that far away in an exotic or unknown destination, or as close and familiar as the view from my apartment window may be.

Curiosity led me to travel, to be open to unlearn, and to be humble to learn again. Seeking understanding on new and different cultures, that you can only get by being close and talkative to different people you met on the journey - the only way to meet new people is by breaking the “stranger” barrier. Thus, my journey so far has taken me to live in different cities and countries, for shorter or longer periods, as well as visit amazing places across the Americas, Eurasia and some countries in Africa. On this journey I have been able to train and develop my photographic eye, in many cases traveling as lightly equipped as just with my phone camera as the only tool.

In spite of being travel, urban and landscape photography the material I have produced most of, throughout this space I present a portfolio of work series recently developed, between 2020 and 2021. Being most of the photographies taken in accessible places to where over these two last years my routines and life currently take place mainly in Denmark, but also in Spain and England.
